A good friend got me interested in this period. I rapidly built armies of pike, shot, and horse using mostly Warlord Games’ plastics with a few metals and other manufacturers mixed in. I already had a bunch of Hudson and Allen buildings painted up that fit the time period. I use Warlord’s Pike and Shot, though I’ve bought a few different rulesets to see how they compare.
